People with access to three key features of high-quality primary care have a lower risk of death.

These features are comprehensiveness, patient-centeredness, and evening and weekend office hours, the University of California, Davis researchers reported in the latest Annals Of Family Medicine (Jan.Feb 2012)


The evidence continues to show that what makes a difference is “longitudinal relationships over time with comprehensive care and excellent access.”
