I always read the Presentation Zen postings, and highly recommend the book of the same name by Garr Reynold’s.
The key to good presentations is the same as the key to good design.
One of these principles is to:
always look at things from the audience’s point of view
- What are they interested in?
- What is relevant to them?
- What one thing do you want them to take home from your presentation?
- What do they already know? Or not know?
